When glucose is present, enzyme IIAglc is __________ and LacY is __________. a. phosphorylated; inhibited b. not phosphorylated;
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

Option B, not phosphorylated; inhibited

Explanation:

Glucose 6 acts as a catobolite repressant . A catobolite repressant which is usually a carbon compound inhibits the operon transcription. In the presence of glucose -6, unphosphorylated enzyme IIAGlc  inhibits the transportation system and hence prevents the utilization of lactose. Glucose‐6‐phosphate and other non‐PTS carbon causes inducer exclusion thereby leading to dephosphorylation of enzyme IIAGl without getting transported.

Hence, option B is correct

Explain the behavior of the balloons referencing the charges.explain how the distance and direction of john travoltage’s finger
blagie [28]

when John Travoltage rubbed his foot against the floor, he started building up negative energy, this negative energy later built up as he was rubbing his foot on the floor which then caused a reaction with the door knob, the same thing happened with the balloons, as we rubbed it on the sweater, the balloons started building up negative energy too, which then resulted in a connection with the positive energy. The dust particles most likely got a charge from moving around from different places, considering that fabrics build up the negative energy, it appears that the dust particles could have landed on a fabric which then allowed the particles to build it up and then stick to other surfaces.
