The excerpt below is from the 3rd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“No soldier shall, in time of peace, be quartered in any house without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.”

Which British policy caused the colonial concerns that led to this later amendment?

Answer:

lodging of British troops inside colonists' homes

Explanation:

The British policy that caused the colonial concerns that led to this later amendment is the "lodging of British troops inside colonists' homes."

This is evident in the fact that following the end of the French and Indian War, the British Parliament passed series of acts, among which is the act that demands American colonists" to the lodging of British troops inside colonists' homes."

However, given the way the American colonist negatively reacted to the Act at that time, the United States passed the 3rd amendment to guide against such occurrence.

How did black codes impact resistance during reconstruction
Yanka [14]
Black codes were restrictive laws designed to limit the freedom of African Americans and ensure their availability as a cheap labor force after slavery was abolished during the Civil War. Though the Union victory had given some 4 million slaves their freedom, the question of freed blacks’ status in the postwar South was still very much unresolved. Under black codes, many states required blacks to sign yearly labor contracts; if they refused, they risked being arrested, fined and forced into unpaid labor. Outrage over black codes helped undermine support for President Andrew Johnson and the Republican Party.

Why did the us government begin planning to overthrow fidel castro in 1960?
konstantin123 [22]
On January 1, 1959 Fidel Castro and his band of guerillas took over the government of President General Fulgencio Batista. Although the United States supported Castro during his revolution against Batista's regime, it was uneasy over the communist leanings of Castro. In 1960, Castro seized private lands and took over all U.S. owned businesses in Cuba and imposed heavy taxes on American goods. As a result, the United States ended diplomatic ties with Cuba and imposed a trade embargo which made Cuba turn to the Soviet Union instead. The United States made several unsuccessful attempts to overthrow the Cuban government.
