English

Answer:

Explanation:

The writer uses hateful verbs like 'cursed' and 'loathed which shows their hatred towards the corpse. These strong verbs also could show that the writer cannot bear the look of the corpse as it is so horrible and disgusting that it has cause them to feel this extreme feeling of hatred. The water says "there wasn't a breath in that land of death" the phrase 'land of death' suggests that the corpse the writer is describing is an extreme presentation of death and also the fact it could be rather large, hence 'land'. 'Land of death also suggests that the corpse is an accurate representation of death as this phrase makes us think of a lifeless land, much like the corpse. This image is disturbing and creepy.

Hallie has two tasks both due on the same day: math homework and a short English essay. Which should she start on first to make
Olin [163]
Both would be fine, I prefer to the one that takes most energy first.

if you were writing the essay, I would start with the essay because it uses a lot of energy from your hand.

If you were typing it, I'd start with math because it uses your brain a bit more.

Honestly, I don't really get what you mean by using energy but that was my best.
