it's better to be safe than sorry as a mild pain over time can become more complicated and lead to a worse prognosis. Meaning if the pain does not improve in an allotted reasonable amount of time it's time to contact your doctor.

a person can be too careful because they can become obsessed and stressed which can complicate illnesses . a person can do too much research and become misinformed or assume they have illnesses that are not there . this would lead to doctors to not taking the patient seriously when they complain about assumed illnesses to often or hypochondria. So when they do have a legitimate issue it's assumed to be nothing by medical professionals. considering cancer is best found fast and the time involved getting a diagnosis . A person should seek medical attention when pain last longer than a few days depending on the pain level experienced. A minor pain maybe a pulled muscle and nothing to worry about but if the pain increases or does not improve over a allotted amount of time I would contact my doctor.
