Answer and Explanation:

What do you think could make someone postpone their dreams?

There are several reasons that could make someone postpone their dreams. One of them is lack of money to pursue it. For instance, financial difficulties may lead someone to give up their education. Another reason is fear of failing. People may be so scared of trying and not succeeding that they may end up not trying at all. One more reason we can list is prejudice, whichever kind it may be. If someone faces prejudice wherever they go, things are harder for them. It could be discouraging and eventually tire them out and make them give up.

What do you think Langston Hughes would say to someone who was thinking about putting off their dreams?

As an important African American author of the Harlem Renaissance, I believe Hughes would try his best to motivate that person. He would tell them to keep on going, to keep on fighting, to find solutions. Deferring one's dreams is grave and sad; it is like being dead even though one is alive.

Alenkasestr [34]

Answer:

The letter was calm and restrained.

Explanation:

Tension between the United States and Russia, formerly known as the Union of Soviet Socialists States were on the rise. From the rocket race, to the missiles race, the tensions between the two countries kept escalating. In the wake of the events, one of the potentially dangerous events was the Cuban missile crisis. Russia thought to build a missile base in Cuba. This would present a great danger to the US. In the letter, Kennedy is tentative in his approach. He exercises restraint. In fact, in one of the lines he says, "...I recognize Mr. Chairman, that it was not I who issued the first challenge in this case..."
