The advantages when using nuclear fusion are the following:
1. We can have clean and non-polluted energy, no contribution of gases to the greenhouse effect or absorption of infrared radiation.
2. Effectively limitless fuel available
3. Very low cost of a fuel
4. No chain reaction
5. Fusion has the potential to provide abundant energy
