An angle is bisected, forming two new
Eduardwww [97]

First let's define bisected

To bisect an angle means to split an angle exactly in half. Both sides of a bisected angle are equal to each other

The original angle (48 degrees) is bisected so we must divide 48 by 2 to find a degree of each angle

48 ÷ 2 = 24

The measure of each new angle is 24 degrees

What is a correct first step in solving the inequality –4(3 – 5x)≥ –6x + 9?
Bumek [7]
The first thing you would need to know is PEMDAS. Also stands for parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction.
This shows the order you should follow when solving problems like these.

This problem states that the first thing that you would look for is parenthesis. There are parenthesis in this statement, but there's a number before the parenthesis. In this case, your first step would be to take -4(3) - -4(-5x)
The first step is using distributive property to -4(3-5x) to get
-4(3) - (-4)-5x
