Town P and Town Q are 80 km apart. A train travels from P to Q at an average speed of 120 km/h, waits, and travels from Q back t
damaskus [11]

Answer:

7 minutes 48 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

Average speed for the whole journey is

distance / time, so

105 = (2*80)/ (t + t2)

where t is the time when it is moving and t2 is the time it stays at town Q.

Time for journey P to Q

= distance / speed

= 80 /120

= 2/3 hours,

Time for journey Q to P

= 80/110

= 8/11 hours

So t = 2/3 + 8/11

= 46/33 hours.

- and substituting in the equation for the whole journey:

160 / (46/33 + t2) = 105

105*46/33 + 105*t2 = 160

105 t2 = 160 - (105*46)/33

           = 160 - 146.364

           = 13.636

t2 = 13.636/105 = 0.1299 hours.

= 7 minutes 48 seconds.

First, if the altitude drawn to the hypotenuse of a right triangle divides the hypotenuse into two segments with lengths of 9 in
Serhud [2]
A right triangle base in your question, its hypotenuse is divided in to two line segment by a line of altitude and those segment are measured as 9 inches and 17 inches, so base on my calculation the exact length of the altitude is 3*sqrt(17)

5a please :) I don't know the formula
KatRina [158]
If you have to find Lateral Superficial Area just do P (perimeter of base) * h

So (8+19+10+7) * 8 = 44*8 = 352 cm^2

If you have to find Total Superficial Area the formule is LA + 2[(B+b)*h/2]

TA = 352 + 2[(19*8)/2] = 352+2(76) = 352+152 = 504 cm^2
