Original Rectangle

 Length=96 inches

Breadth =60 inches

Transformed Rectangle

New Length= (96+l) inches

New Breadth=(60+w) inches

Perimeter of New rectangle =2 × (New Length +New Breadth)

  =2 ×(96+l+60+w)

 =2×(156+l+w)

 =(312+2l+2w) Inches

Since you already have length and width all you have to do is 96/60 which is 1.6
