Answer:

Explanation:

It all depends what your story topic is, but I'd suggest coming up with a main character and having them go through this adventure or something, it's a very basic idea but with enough effort and detail it wont seem like one in the end.

Edit: any simple idea will work really (with enough effort put in).

You can take a simple story like Little Red Ridding Hood and reference you story off of something from that, or a story like Rapunzel, where you have a main character that has a step mom that doesn't let them leave home or something. in my opinion its all about the detail and effort, You could have a great idea for a story but that doesn't really matter if it doesn't have correct wording and whatnot to make it stand out.

I love life but life hasn’t been gone so great just last week I hurt my leg walking down the stairs how dose that happen anyway after I hurt my leg of course I still had to go to school so on my way to school I see a dark cave on the lot of grass that is always empty so I say mom look someone has put up a cave house she looks at me as if I just made a horrible joke and says stop playing all the time there’s nothing there i than look back and see the cave still sitting there so I just said okay mom but I know what I saw so after a long day of school I told my mom that I’d catch a ride home from a friend and she said okay be home by ten I said okay thx and than I called an Uber to take me to the old empty lot and of course I waited for him to leave before I went in witch form some reason took forever but it was so worth it I slowly walked into the cave and saw the most beautiful creatures and the most beautiful plants growing the best of all foods I then looked up and saw A huge white bird with beautiful shiny gray eyes he swoop down so fast I thought he was trying to attack me then he stopped right before my feet and said hi I’m happy welcome to the land of greatness where anything you think of can you come true only believers can see the cave and only the brave can enter so are you ready to explore anything you could have ever wanted of course I was ready for the only thing on my mind was there once I entered can I leave my mom would be worried if I didn’t come home so I asked Mr. happy can I go home whenever I want and then come back Mr. happy look down on me and said this is not a prison you can leave as you please but once you leave there’s no guarantee that the cave will reveal itself to you again I really loved it here it had everything I could ask for Being here made me so happy but I also loved my mom so my next question was can my mom come here too Mr. happy said is she a believer I can make her one he then said if she is an already a believer I don’t think you can make her one but you can try he told me you have 2 1/2 days after that you are your mother is not welcome here I was so excited said OK ran home told my mom and she said make me a believer of what the nonsense and I don’t have to explain your mom I only have 2 1/2 days either you’re coming with me or you’re staying here in this horrible world and she looked up and said if I put all my faith into you you will not let me down right side of caution I’m on I can never like you it’s real I promise but she said she had to say her goodbyes to everybody first so we spent his day going to school and she went up to work to say goodbye to everyone we knew and loved then she drop the car off right in front of where I told her to and she solid she said the case this is what you were talking about I said yes ma’am this is the cave I mentioned earlier you are a believer now but are you brave enough to enter she looked at me and said let’s do this so we slowly walk through the thing and when we got there Mr. happy greeted us with food and then he showed us to a new home which I didn’t know at the time but that was my mom‘s dream home and she was like how did you know and Mr. happy sir this is the place where all your deepest happy thoughts come true if I’m not there forward we have everything we ever one in life we were so happy.

Part 2 Reflection:

1. Did the authors have similar or opposite views?

The two pieces only have one thing in common: they both concern Mars exploration. They have opposing perspectives on this issue.

Fisher believes that cloning Mars should begin as soon as feasible and sees several advantages. He believes robots cannot make as much progress in research as people, hence he advocates sending humans to explore. He denies that radiation harms the human body.

Unlike Fisher, J. Springs believes we should not send people to Mars. He believes that even if you live in a dome, you will not be safe from radiation. He thinks money should be focused on fixing critical issues on Earth, not on space exploration. Finally, he refutes Fisher's claim that space technology innovations spur technical advancement and new human-useful technologies.

2. Did the authors use the same points of comparison? Explain with examples.

a) Neither of them believes that humans should be sent to Mars.

"There are many reasons why going to Mars is important" (Fisher)

"..., now it is not [for humans] the time to go." (springs)

b) Spending money to do space exploration is analyzed by both.

"Furthermore, the technology we would need to develop to send humans to Mars would directly benefit our economy here on Earth." (On the case for mars by alexander fisher)

"That [space research] money would be better spent addressing problems here on Earth." (springs)

c) Fisher is primarily concerned with establishing a colony on Mars as quickly as possible, while Springs is more concerned with improving technology on Earth before deploying robots to Mars.

"It won't be long until our technology is so advanced that a robot will be able to do the same tasks as a human. It is not necessary to go to Mars right now." (springs)

3. Did the authors support their views in the same or different way?

Fisher focuses on the future advantages, whereas Springs focuses on the present problems that need to be fixed. Both utilize facts and statistics to support their views.

4. Did both focus most on appeals to logic or to emotion?

A. Fisher appeals to logic, but his argument is to humans' desire to conquer other worlds. He utilizes scientific information to make conclusions, but these conclusions are flawed. Regarding radiation, Fisher asserts it is not harmful to humans, ignoring the fact that it is still hazardous even if people live in a dome, and that radiation has long-term impacts on the human body. He does not believe these considerations should be addressed before sending humans to investigate the planet. Emotions override reasoning.

J. Springs uses logic to defend human health. He also points out that helpful technical innovations for humanity are not limited to space technology research, and that new appliances may be created by humans addressing local issues on Earth. Finally, he mentions the high research expenditures that may be better spent on other concerns.
