Which best illustrates how Gregor Mendel used creativity that lead to scientific discovery?O He noticed that traits were passed
Svet_ta [14]
As I know Gregor Mendel - Austrian naturalist, botanist and a religious leader, a monk, founder of the doctrine of heredity (Mendelism). By applying statistical methods for the analysis of results of the hybridization of pea varieties, formulated the laws of heredity. In 1856, Mendel began his experiments in crossing different varieties of peas, differing in a single, strictly defined criteria (for example, the shape and color of seeds). Precise quantitative account of all types of hybrids and statistical processing of the results of experiments that he conducted for 10 years, allowed him to formulate the basic laws of heredity - the splitting and combining of hereditary "factors". Mendel showed that these factors are separated and not crossing merge and disappear. Although the crossing of two organisms with contrasting features (for example, yellow or green seeds) in the next generation of hybrids appears only one of them.

The science that includes the study of tumor cells, macrophages and protein synthesis is called
GalinKa [24]

The science of Cancer Biology focuses on the study of the different mechanisms and fundamental process of cell growth, the transformation of normal to cancer cells, and the metastasis or spread of these cancer cells to other parts of the body.

As such, it includes the study of how tumor cells develop and grow. It also includes studying how the immune system responds to cancer cells, thus including macrophages and their response to the presence of pathogens and cancer cells. Underlying all these is the inclusion of a study on protein synthesis as it is the process where biological cells build and create new specific proteins in the body.

Which of the following molecules is most likely to passively diffuse across the plasma membrane?
Zigmanuir [339]

The plasma membrane is the biological membrane that separates the interior of the cell from its external environment. It is selectively permeable in nature and allows the transport of substances in and out of the cell either by passive transport or active transport.

Passive transport is the movement of substances from a region of their higher concentration to a region of their lower concentration through a semi-permeable membrane. Substances like carbon dioxide and oxygen move across the plasma membrane by diffusion which is a type of passive transport. It involves the diffusion of carbon dioxide down its concentration gradient. Carbon dioxide and oxygen are two molecules that undergo the process of simple diffusion across the plasma membrane.
