An urban area is an area where many people live and work close together. The population density is higher than in the surrounding area. Urban areas are usually cities and towns.

Urban life has had major effects on humans like; housing problems. People tend to move to cities and towns and if cities are not well prepared for the numbers, houses become scarce.Sometimes, existing sewerage systems may not have the capacity to treat waste. So instead, it is drained into the water sources endangering the health of urban dwellers. The rampant growth of the population in urban areas makes the water very scarce.

Immigration essay about what challenges they faced in the 20th century
WINSTONCH [101]
Three main struggles of immigrants:
1) Language barriers
Failure to communicate with Americans means less opportunities for employment and difficulty making new friends/contacts.
2) Cultural/race discrimination
Many immigrants wouldn't get hired for a job because of racism and cultural differences.
3) Financial issues
No work = no money = tough living situations.

If you want someone to write the whole essay for you, you'll have to offer a lot more than 15 points. But this should get you started. :)

Which detail from Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll points to the theme that a person’s path in life is already set?
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

Alice learns she is having a dinner party with guests whom she did not invite.

Explanation:

Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There is a novel written by Lewis Carroll as the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

The detail that points to the theme that a person's path in life is already set is Alice learning that she is having a dinner party with guests whom she did not invite. We want to control all things that happen in our lives, but this detail shows us that sometimes it can't be like that. Some things are out of our control - they are already set and will happen no matter what our wishes are. That's why Alice has dinner with guests she didn't invite.
