Answer:

Independent events are the events which can't affected by the previous events.

Situation 1) The events are not independent.

∵ the second event took place without replacement that means after first event there would be 14 coins left in the jar(i.e. by picking 1st coin the the total number of coins changed).

Situation 2) The events are independent.

∵ each toss is independent event, as first event doesn't effect the second event.

Situation 3) The events are not independent.

∵the second event took place without replacement that means after first event(after choosing 1 card) there would be 8 coins left in the box.

Situation 4) The events are independent.

∵the second event took place with replacement that means after first event there would be no change in the number of balls in bag .

siniylev [52]

Answer:

The difference is 3 papers per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you make turn the 10 minutes to 60 minutes by multiplied by 6 and the same to three and you would get 18 paper per hour. Next, you simplify the 8 minute rate to 1 paper in 4 minutes then multiply the 4 by 15 = 60 minutes then the same to the 1 equal to 15 paper per hour. Finally, you subtract 18 - 15 = 3 paper.
