Slope-intercept form: y = mx + b
(m is the slope, b is the y-intercept or the y value when x = 0 --> (0, y) or the point where the line crosses through the y-axis)
To put this into slope-intercept form, you need to isolate/get the variable "y" by itself in the equation:
8x - 6y = 6 Subtract 8x on both sides
8x - 8x - 6y = 6 - 8x
-6y = -8x + 6 Divide -6 on both sides to get "y" by itself
