Read the sentences from a story. Manny cautiously approached the injured animal and slowly reached out to pet its back. He spoke

to it in a gentle voice, wondering whether he could get it to Dr. Vito, the local vet, without causing more damage -- and without getting bitten. Then he wondered whether his mother could help. Based on voice, the narrator views Manny as serious. independent. caring. adventurous.

Answer:

Based on voice, the narrator views Manny as <u>caring</u>.

Explanation:

In the story, we see Manny trying his best to try to get help to the injured animal. Not only did he <em>"cautiously approached"</em> the animal, but he also <em>"slowly reached out to pet its back."</em>

The words that the author used to relay the character of Manny shows the sensitive and caring side. Moreover, the story continues to show that Manny tried to get the animal to a vet while carefully caring for it. He also wondered if his mother can help out, which shows how much he was concerned for the wellbeing of the injured animal.

Thus, the voice used by the narrator shows how caring Manny is.

Nataliya [291]

Answer:

<em>d. this is a call to revolution</em>

<em></em>

Explanation:

Henry is calling for a revolution. By stating "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, at to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?" he points out that the fear of dying and the fear of war is not worth trading ones freedom, but rather one should choose freedom over a bandaged living and state of peace.

I need help please.
Anna71 [15]

During the World War II era, the United States military struggled to find enough able-bodied men to fly the military aircraft. General Henry “Hap” Arnold teamed up with Jacqueline “Jackie” Cochran to create a task force of female pilots to help in the fight against the Axis Powers. The U.S. Air Force had difficulties finding a solution to their conflict: they needed women to fly aircraft on the homeland, but at the time women were prevented from being in the military. The Air Force finally compromised by allowing women to perform only noncombat jobs. Originally, the women were separated into two groups: the Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron (WAFS) and the Women’s Flying Training Detachment (WFTD). Later these groups would combine into the group known as the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs). The hard work and perseverance of the WASPs led to the 2015 ruling allowing women into all military positions. Though they encountered much opposition, the WASPs proved that females deserve to be seen as equal to men.
