The hippie movement was a major movement during the countercultural crisis of the 60s and it led many people to develop anti war opinions and support for the civil rights movement.
The Chinese merchant class benefitted the most from the trade conducted on the silk road. The silk road trade allowed the Chinese economy to grow and also established trade relations with Europeans.

because it triggered people to move places to get jobs which caused
immigration. Cities swelled with waves of job seekers. It moved the world
balance of power and increased the competition between industrialized nations
and less developed ones.</span>
