Tank Man is an unknown protester who opposed the tanks during the protest. He became a symbol for civil disobedience.
4. There were large-scale protests against the incident outside China.
Criticisms from around the world flooded China - Europe, Americas, Australia, Asia. There were also demonstrations by Chinese students in various cities outside China.
