Answer:

The different government that we have learned about is democracy, tripartite, roman republic and monarchy government. How these governments are different is because with a tripartite you have three different branches: the Legislative branch is to pass laws, the judicial branch is to settle disputes about the law, and the executive branch is to carry the laws out so their power is evenly distributed. Monarchy is where You have a single person in charge. Democracy is where the people involved in the government choose to be legislators. Finally the roman republic was where Rome elected leaders and the leaders were limited to one year in power and a small group of wealthy and powerful men controlled how the government was run.  The similarities for all these governments are that the governments had to be led by someone.  They type of government is democracy and a little bit of monarchy and the reason why is because i would want my people to have a say so in who is going to be in are government and in whatever we do but were the little bit of monarchy would come in at is I would hear both sides of the story then make a decision.  For example say two brothers were arguing and one said he only wanted only Powerade and the other ]brother wants Gatorade and then they go to their dad and wats his opinion and then he has to make the decision of which one to get or maybe get neither.

Answer:

In 1859, a man in Solferino, Italy, watched as 40,000 people died due to a war. His name was John Henry Dunant. Dunant led a group of volunteers to help those wounded people, as hospitals were overflowing. Dunant made a pamphlet in 1862 called "a Memory of Solferino" which he told everyone about what had happened. The pamphlet ended with the plea, "Would it not be possible to found and organize in all civilized countries permanent societies of volunteers who in time of war would give help to the wounded without regard for their nationality?" His idea became well known, and a meeting was held in Geneva, Switzerland, Dunant's very own country. They discussed the formation of those societies. It was attended by people from 16 countries and many charitable organizations. They formed the idea for the soon to be Red Cross.

They persuaded their own individual governments to ratify what is now known as the first Geneva Convention. By 1869, many red cross societies were formed, and 22 countries signed the Geneva Convention. There were four Geneva Conventions all together. The first one protects victims of land battles, the second protects victims of sea battles, the third Convention protects prisoners of war, and the fourth and final convention protects enemy aliens. These principles make up over half of the international welfare laws. Their seven main principles are, Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary service, and Unity.

The modern red cross has over 200,000,000 volunteers from 135 countries. All across the world these people are working to achieve the same goal.

What is the relationship between the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights? (1 point)
lesantik [10]

The correct answer to this question is D. This is because A, implies that the Declaration of Independece guarantees the individual rights, but it briefly mentions some of this freedoms, such as those of life, liberty and the pursuit of hapiness in order to argue the reaons why the decision of the States to declare themselves independent from the British Crown, so it does not really explain these rights.

Regarding B, the bill of rights, that is, the first 10 Ammendments of the Constitution, does not deal with the reasons for revolution, as this body of ammendments is the result of the evolution of the society, its needs and demands: they were created along the time, as a result of a process, so they are not entirely linked to the reasons for the revolution.

And finally, C probably best describes the Constitution, which is the one that creates the Government as it certainly outlines its structure as we see it today, and in any case replaces the Declaration of Independence which doesn´t really deal with the creation of the Government.

As a conclusion, the Declaration of Independence is the political statement which sets the will of the new nation, whereas the Constitution, as the result of this initial statement, creates the Government, that at the same time, recognizes the individual rights as an expression of the Declaration and is adopted by the Constitution to guarantee the enforceability of these Rights.
