First you need to get rid of the parenthesis by multiplying everything thats in it by 2

so you get 2x - 6 + 4x + 3

now just add like terms

6x - 3

at this point theres nothing more you can do

The answer would be b. because you multiply through the parentheses by 2. then you collect like terms. calculate and you get 6x-3.
