The vikings did but they didn't "document" the discovery as much as Christopher did. Christopher wasn't even the 1st person to spot the Americas. Christopher was completely wrong about his discovery. History continues to repeat itself over and aver again. White men suppressing minorities for their self-less gain in power. White people raped people, caused wars, slavery, dept, etc. This one of the reasons why people today have so many races in their family tree. Even white people brought over diseases from Europe.
