The war broke out because of England’s unfair tax rates and rules, finally after a few years of England outrageous rules the Declaration of Independence was written. Upon presenting the declaration to England they were outraged and the war began. The war had many casualties on both sides but England had it far worse than the US. The English belived taking cover was for cowards, this ended in there defeat in many battles.
