Answer:

The scapula, better known as the shoulder blade, is a triangular bone that serves as a joining force between the clavicle and the humerus. This bone is located posteriorly (on the back half of the body). The scapula plays an important role in stabilizing the other bones involved in the rhythm of shoulder motion.

Can some one explain give me the summary of way of seeing chapter
thanks & regards
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer: When we inhabit the world, we are constantly seeing. Perception is an ongoing reality—we are always taking in the world, and only after the fact do we name it. Thus begins Ways of Seeing, drawing our attention to the fraught relationship between vision, images, words, and meaning. Our understanding of what we see doesn't generally align with the objective facts of what we're seeing: for example, we see the sun set every night, while we know that it isn't really "setting," but rather, the earth is simply revolving away from it. Likewise, we can attempt to capture what we see, reproducing or recreating it for others so that they can try to understand how we perceive the world. To do so is to create an image: "an image is a sight which has been recreated or reproduced." In so doing, we remove the image from the original circumstances under which it was seen. In this sense, every image embodies what Berger calls "a way of seeing": a record of how its creator saw the world. Images can preserve things as they once were, and simultaneously, preserve how their creator once saw their subject. Images, more so than any other relics from the past, offer a direct testimony as to how people saw—and, by extension, understood—the world.

kumpel [21]

The options are:

a). Nebergall is an armchair Mars enthusiast with a career as a business analyst.

b). Nebergall argues convincingly that Mars is the last, best hope for the survival of humanity.

c). I think that Nebergall is a brilliant scientist who needs to be recognized.

d). Nebergall avoids using pathos in his essay.

Answer:

b). Nebergall argues convincingly that Mars is the last, best hope for the survival of humanity.

Explanation:

The introduction of any literary work primarily aims to clarify the topic to the readers, state its importance, thesis, grab readers' interest and attention, and highlight the key focus that the author will throw light upon.

In the given essay, the second option most adequately enhances the introduction as it clearly states the key argument of the author that how credibly 'Mars is the last yet most effective alternate for human survival.' This would not only inform the readers about the author's viewpoint but also capture their interest. The description of the use of the data establishes the logical validity of the claim and supports the author's claim. Thus, option b is the correct answer.
