They don't have much say in my mind. They called the election of Lincoln "illegitimate" as he "violated their constitutional rights" well I say that the time for Compromises is over. The "Compromise of 1877" is nothing but a slap in the face to us Union boys who fought and bled so that there shall not be no more compromise between states and that the Federal government shall rule with the Constitution alone.
