My heart was beating quickly as I eyes the man in front of me. His face was bloody and busted and he had boxing tape wrapped around his knuckles. He wore a grimace, a snarl rising up in his chest and he smelled like cheap cologne and a burnt whiskey that stung my nose so badly. I was trapped agains the well with no way out, a few shadows illuminated by the dull street light passed by the alleyway but none stopped to help. I balled my fists up in fear, my heartbeat rising and stomach dropping.

"Come on!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, trying to intimidate the other but it clearly didn't work as he moved in closer.

My mind was scattered as I tried to find something to protect myself better than my own hands that were always so fragile.

As soon as he threw the first punch, I ducked and his hand hit the cement wall hard. A groan resonated throughout the alley; one of pain from the other.

I held my breath as I moved out of the way quickly, starting to run away to try and leave him.

but I tripped and fell over my own feet, landing in the middle of the road. Bright car lights flashed towards me, the semi hurdling towards me-

that's when I woke up to realize it was all a dream.

I hope this helped ^^
