Mathematics
1 answer:
SVEN [57.7K]3 years ago
7 0

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2 4 5 6

4 8 10 12

6 12 15 18

8 16 20 24

10 20 25 30

12 24 30 36

14 28 35 42

16 32 40 48

18 36 45 54

20 40 50 60

22 44 55 66

24 48 60 72

I have set this table up in a spreadsheet and colored in the squares as they appear in the table above. I have not counted any number as a member of 2 categories twice. An example would be 36 which is a multiple of 3 and a perfect square.

I have answered the question as though the question took on the properties of a dart board: you through a dart and whatever you hit is counted either as prime, a multiple of 3 or a perfect square

That said, there are

primes:                    2

multiples of 3:       24

Perfect squares:      4

Total number of choices: 12*4 = 48

Probability: 30 / 48 = 5/8 or 0.625

If you are supposed to use some other method of counting, please leave a note.

During the 2011-12 NBA season, LeBron James had an average of 30.3 points per game. The mean and standard deviation for the leag
ikadub [295]

Answer:

LeBron James had the more remarkable season

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

LeBron James:

Average point per Game = 30.3

Mean of the league (m) = 7.65

Standard deviation (s) = 6.64

WNBA:

Taurasi:

Average point = 21.6

Mean = 8.13

Standard deviation =4.77

Taking the Zscore for each:

LeBron :

Zscore = (x - m) / s

Zscore = (30.3 - 7.65) / 6.64

Zscore = 22.65 / 6.64 = 3.411

P(z < 3.411) = 0.99968

Taurasi :

Zscore = (x - m) / s

Zscore = (21.6 - 8.13) / 4.77

Zscore = 13.47 / 4.77

Zscore = 2.82

P( Z < 2.82) = 0.9976

LeBron's average has more standard deviations above the mean than Taurasi

The red graph (1) is the graph of f(x) = log(x). Describe the transformation of the blue function (2) and write the equation of
Nataly_w [17]

Answer:

first of all, the graphs are so poorly plotted,even kn computer...

anyways,

since the blue one ending at x=5 on the x axis,

while actual log ends at x=0 this means

X=x-5

and since, log1=0 but it's 5 in blue graph,

the graph is moved up by 5

hence,

y=5+log(x-5)
