Answer:

You will have 48 blue streamers.

Step-by-step explanation:

This question can be solved by proportions, using rule of three.

We have that:

For 12 blue streamers, there are have 9 gold streamers. How many blue streamers are there when there are 36 gold streamers?

12 blue - 9 gold

x blue - 36 gold

Applying cross multiplication

9x = 36*12

Simplifying by 9

x = 4*12 = 48

You will have 48 blue streamers.

Someone PLEASE help me with this and PLEASE show me and explain how you got the answer:
klio [65]
Before I get started don’t click on that link the other person sent it’s a hacker trying to get your ip address so just be careful!

Alrighty so your gonna start with finding the area of the rectangular prism so 4cm*3cm*12.5cm= 150 cm squared
(Rectangular prism formula is Length*Width*Height)

Then we’re gonna get the triangular prisms area. The formula for it is the same as the rectangular one but once u did it ur gonna divide it in half since a rectangle is made up of 2 triangles!
4cm*3cm*12.5= 150cm then divide it in half to get 75cm squared.

Now just add your rectangular prisms are and your triangular prisms area 150cm+75cm= 225cm squared!

The boiling point of water is 212∘F. In degrees Celsius, how much heat do I have to add to boil water that is already 194∘F? Use
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

You need to add 10 °C of heat.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the quantity of heat in Celsius first we need to convert the units:

212 °F to °C (boiling point):

C_{1} = \frac{5}{9}(F - 32) = \frac{5}{9}(212 - 32) = 100 ^{\circ} C    (1)

194 °F to °C:

C_{2} = \frac{5}{9}(F - 32) = \frac{5}{9}(194 - 32) = 90 ^{\circ} C    (2)

Now we can find the quantity of heat that must be added by substrating equation (2) from (1):

\Delta C = C_{1} - C_{2} = 100 ^{\circ}C - 90 ^{\circ}C = 10^{\circ} C

Therefore, you need to add 10 °C of heat to boil water that is 90 °C.

I hope it helps you!
