Before I get started don’t click on that link the other person sent it’s a hacker trying to get your ip address so just be careful!

Alrighty so your gonna start with finding the area of the rectangular prism so 4cm*3cm*12.5cm= 150 cm squared
(Rectangular prism formula is Length*Width*Height)

Then we’re gonna get the triangular prisms area. The formula for it is the same as the rectangular one but once u did it ur gonna divide it in half since a rectangle is made up of 2 triangles!
4cm*3cm*12.5= 150cm then divide it in half to get 75cm squared.

Now just add your rectangular prisms are and your triangular prisms area 150cm+75cm= 225cm squared!

If you look at the figure, you can see there are two shapes; the rectangular prism (bottom) and triangular prism (top). First we find the volume of the rectangular prism by using the formula length x width x height. Put the values in which would be 12.5 x 3 x 4. You get 150cm^3. then for the triangular prism, the formula is V= base x length x height x 1/2. Put the values in, which would be 3 x 12.5 x 4 x 1/2. For that you get 75cm^3. Add both answers together and you get 225 cm^3.

If we convert 2 to a fraction with a denominator of 5 we get 10/5. Work backwards and subtract 2/5 to get 8/5. Which meets the criteria of having a numerator 3 larger than the denominator

For a filed trip the school bought 47 sandwiches for $40.60 each and 39 bags of chips for $1.25 each. How much did the school sp
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

$1,956.95

Step-by-step explanation:

The school bought 47 sandwiches for $40.60

= 47 × 40.60

= 1,908.2

They also bought 39 bags of chips for $1.25

= 1.25×39

= 48.75

Therefore the total amount spent can be calculated as follows

= 48.75 + 1,908.2

= 1,956.95

Hence the total amount spent by the school is $1,956.95
