Franklin Roosevelt set up the lend-lease program in 1941 to
help Britain fight against Germany and the Axis Powers. The United States was
officially uninvolved in the war at the time but this was a method of offering
aid indirectly to the Allied nations.
One of the best songs of the sixties that I have heard was “The
Times They Are A Changing” by Bob Dylan.
Clearly this song reflects the growing change in attitude among the
young during the sixties as if they were now showing their breaking away from
the ideals and beliefs of their parents.
How they were now asserting their views for it was their time and they
showed during that period in history.
The Sons of Liberty would be most supported by the Patriots.
Patriots were the people in Colonial America who rebelled against the British Crown. The Sons of Liberty was a secret organization that worked to undermine British power through demonstrations, threats and sometimes violence.

-iron to make tools, machines, and factories
-river transport
-harbors to ship and sell products
