How can I remember what I learned in school?

Mathematics

For short term remembering: It really works if you take notes in class. I also found making connections to things you've experienced helps too.

For long term remembering - I found reviewing what you've learned recently is extremely useful. You can usually do this once in a couple of days until you're sure you can remember it.

Hope this helps!

A candy store sells bags of fruit-flavored candy for $2 and chocolate candy for $3. Jasmine spends $54 on candy for her friends.
34kurt

Answer:

2x + 3y = $54

Step-by-step explanation:

Standard Form ~ Ax + By = C

A and B in this case are just going to be numbers, they are just for substitution purposes.

Since x is fruit flavored candy and y is Chocolate, we can substituce the Fruit for A and Chocolate for B.

Now, we have 2x + 3y = C

The C is going to be the total cost. Therefore we have ~

2x + 3y = $54

If the parent function f(x) = (2x − 3)3 is transformed to g(x) = (-2x + 3)3, which type of transformation occurs? A. vertical sh
exis [7]

Answer:

The answer is C

Step-by-step explanation:

We have f(x) function as below:

f(x)=(2x-3)^3

and the converted function g(x) is as mentioned below:

g(x)=(-2x+3)^3

We can observe that:

f(x)=-g(x)

Therefore it can be said that this function reflected horizontally.

Note: please check the plot attached.

HELP for (ii)…..how do we find a?
Mariana [72]

By using the information given on the graph, we can see that a = 3.

<h3>How to find the value of a?</h3>

Here we have an exponential of the form:

y = p*a^x

And by looking at the graph, it passes through (0, 4) and (2, 36), so we can write:

4 = p*a^0\\\\36 = p*a^2

From the first equation we get that p = 4, replacing that on the second one we get:

36 = 4*a^2\\\\36/4 = 9 = a^2\\\\\sqrt{9} = 3 = a

So we conclude that a = 3.

What is the product? (9t − 4)(−9t − 4) −81t2 − 16 −81t2 16 −81t2 − 72t 16 −81t2 72t 16
Alexxandr [17]
<span>We have to find the product : ( 9 t - 4 ) ( - 9 t - 4 ) = - ( 9 t - 4 ) ( 9 t + 4 ) After that we can use the difference of squares. The formula is: ( a + b ) ( a - b ) = a^2 - b^2. In this case: - ( 9 t - 4 ) ( 9 t + 4 ) = - ( 81 t^2 - 16 ) = - 81 t^2 + 16 . Answer: B ) - 81 t^2 + 16.</span>
