English

8 0

Answer:

I think that the author is using Logos and Ethos.

Explanation:

Logos: An appeal to logic.

Ethos: An appeal based upon the reputation or experiences.

I think he appealed to Ethos from this part of the passage, "when I was your age" this is based off of experiences.

I think he appealed to Logos because the author includes facts and logic in this passage. Such as, "The study of the rights and duties of citizens is called civics" and "only nine sates require students to have a full year of it in scool".

I think the author used them booth equally.

This is the best I could do. I'm just a random 15 year old lol.

CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

A adverb usually follows the verb, It can also precede the verb. Also a prepositional phrase functions as an adjective or adverb, and a prepositional phrase functions as an adjective or adverb. Also letting someone know you like them a lot just adds the adverb onto the verb. And being is an adverb and so it will always modify a verb in lieu of a noun.
