Answer:

The rest of this section will be devoted to four types of fronts. Three of these fronts move and one is stationary. With cold fronts and warm fronts, the air mass at the leading edge of the front gives the front its name. In other words, a cold front is right at the leading edge of moving cold air and a warm front marks the leading edge of moving warm air.

When two air masses meet together, the boundary between the two is called a weather front. At a front, the two air masses have different densities, based on temperature, and do not easily mix. One air mass is lifted above the other, creating a low pressure zone. If the lifted air is moist, there will be condensation and precipitation. Winds are common at a front. The greater the temperature difference between the two air masses, the stronger the winds will be. Fronts are the main cause of stormy weather.

hope this helps lol :)

What did the martial plan do?
kirill115 [55]

Answer: Gave European countries financial aid from the US

Explanation: I believe you meant to say Marshall Plan. This was after WWII. European countries were heavily damaged from the fighting, and served as an opportunity for communism to rise since the economy wasn't good. So, to contain the spread of communism and stop the Soviet Union from taking over more countries, the US gave more than $15 billion for financial rebuilding efforts.

Which excerpt from "Sone Detective best shows that Diane France is recognized as an expert in her line of work?
Bogdan [553]

Question

Read the excerpt from "Bone Detective," by Lorraine Jean Hopping.

Next Diane borrowed Mary’s cat, Whites, for a dress rehearsal of the big event. Mary told Diane that cats vent body heat through the tongue. To avoid overheating the animal, she recommended using cold water—and working quickly.

When Mary tranquilized her cat for its regular teeth cleaning, Diane made an impression of the little pink tongue. She had to work around an oxygen tube in the cat’s mouth. But, once again, she was able to produce an amazingly detailed impression. It included all the spines that made the cat’s tongue so rough. Cats need the stiff bristles—called filiform papillae—to clean their fur. Diane wondered what the tiger tongue would feel like—a scrub brush?

Which excerpt from "Bone Detective" best shows that Diane France is recognized as an expert in her line of work?

Answer:

The correct option is A)

Explanation:

In the book "Bone Detective" Diane is described as a forensic anthropologist and a bone detective. Sometimes, her work required recreating impressions.

"Impression" here refers to a graphic or pictorial replica of a person or an object.

The second paragraph states that "once again..."  this means she had done this before and this time again demonstrated her dexterity in her chosen field of profession.

Cheers!
