A = $226.80
B = $201.50
C = $200

To find the tots with a markup, times the original amount by the percentage as a decimal (30% would be 0.30). Then add that amount back on.

The answer would be C because it is the cheapest.

B.
66%. Again, because it is the cheapest, if you offer more than the markup of both A and C- A will have to be cheaper. Thus, at least a 66% discount is the answer.

Hope that helps!

Find x [Angles and Segment]
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

  8.3 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The product of lengths to the near and far point of intersection with the circle is the same in all cases:

  (7 cm)(7 cm) = (y)(11 cm +y) = (4 cm)(4 cm +x)

Since we're only interested in x, we can divide by 4 and subtract 4:

  49 cm² = (4 cm)(4 cm +x)

  (49/4) cm = 4 cm +x . . . . . . divide by 4 cm

  8.25 cm = x . . . . . . . . . . . . . subtract 4 cm

To the nearest tenth, x = 8.3 cm.

_____

For a tangent segment, the two points of intersection with the circle are the same point, so the product of lengths is the square of the length.

___

The angles depend on the size of the circle, which is not given.

Shaded part means the yellow part

  • The two sets are S and Y.
  • The centre intersection part is A\cap
  • All the areas occupied by both sets is AUB .

Rest part :-

<h3>✽ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~Hello There!~ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ✽</h3>

➷ final = original x multiplier

final = 48 x 0.9

final = 43.2

Tony paid $43.20

Subtract the two values:

43.2 - 42.95 = 0.25

Therefore, the correct option would be C. Keith paid $0.25 less than Tony paid

The first two steps in determining the solution set of the system of equations y=x to the second power -2x-3 and y=-x+3
Arisa [49]

The solution set for the both equation is  (3,0) and (-1,0)

We have given that the equation

y=x^2-2x-3 \ and\  y=x+3

We have to determine the solution to the first equation

<h3>What is the quadratic equation formula?</h3>

\quad x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-\left(-2\right)\pm \sqrt{\left(-2\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\cdot \left(-3\right)}}{2\cdot \:1}

x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-\left(-2\right)\pm \:4}{2\cdot \:1}

x_1=\frac{-\left(-2\right)+4}{2\cdot \:1},\:x_2=\frac{-\left(-2\right)-4}{2\cdot \:1}

x=3,\:x=-1

Now  use this value we have to find the value of y

When x=3 then

y=(3)^2-2(3)-3

y=9-6-3

y=0

When x=-1 then y=1-2(-1)-3

y=1+2-3

y=0

Therefore the solution set for both equations is (3,0) and (-1,0).
