Answer:

Matter.

Explanation:

Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. The mass of an object measures the amount of matter or substance the object contains.

Generally, matter exists in three (3) distinct phases and these are;

I. Solid.

II. Liquid.

III. Gas.

The law of conservation of matter states that, matter can neither be created nor destroyed.

This ultimately implies that, for any chemical reaction, there must be the same number and type of atom present before and after the chemical change.

Weathering can be defined as the physical and chemical breakdown of rock into smaller pieces called sediment.

Hence, when a rock is weathered and transported downstream, this is best seen as an example of the conservation of matter because the amount of matter remains the same after the weathering process (change in form of matter).

What Do Americans think about Brazil and Brazilians?
Lelu [443]
I personally hold no judgement but <span>If you go on YouTube 99% of the material about Brazil is made by Brazilians. Brazil occupies less space in US news than any country in the MIddle East or most of Asia. Recently Americans have been exposed to Brazilians who moved here or are college students. Brazilian tourism to the US is much greater than US tourism to Brazil, and 90% of the American tourist I have encountered in Brazil were on their way to Buenos Aires or Iguazu Falls or some other Latin American destination.</span>

laiz [17]

Answer:

  1. Monsieur Ernest Defarge
  2. The knitting of Madame Defarge, wife of Monsieur Ernest Defarge
  3. The record is kept secret, because knitting is something common that does not arouse suspicion.

Explanation:

The question above shows an excerpt from "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens. The excerpt is presented by Monsieur Ernest Defarge. He is talking about a record that is kept secret. This record is the knitting of his wife Madame Defarge, who knits information in code form about the people she and her husband want to kill, for some reason. Nobody is suspicious of this record, because knitting was something very common to be done by women at the time, besides, it was impossible for anyone to be able to unveil the code contained in the knitted piece.

patriot [66]

A person who feels very good after receiving a compliment, but very bad after being insulted, would sore high on measures of <u> "self-esteem variability".</u>

The connection of self-esteem variability to identity, state of mind, and conduct was explored. Self-esteem variability was estimated by figuring the standard deviation of self-appraisals made amid seven days of experience-examining. Members high in self-esteem variability were reluctant, socially on edge, and avoidant of social settings. Confidence fluctuation was mostly free of the theoretically comparative attribute of affect-intensity.
