analyze the example of gene expression of the bacteria below: A piece of DNA is transcribed into a piece of mRNA. The mRNA is tr

anslated in a protein. The protein has a chemical bonded to it that allows the protein to bond to a second piece of DNA. The protein chemical substrate prevents the second piece of DNA from being transcribed into mRNA. Why would the bacteria regulate gene expression in this manner? To express genes during reproduction To ensure gene expression when the initialing chemical is present To prevent gene expression if the initialing chemical is already provided To make sure the genes are constantly being expressed

Which kind of of electrical charge is found on a hydrogen atom of a polar water molecule? A. A negative charge, because of a cov
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

D. A positive charge, because of a covalent bond with oxygen

Explanation:

A water molecule contain both hydrogen and oxygen atom. Water is a polar molecule because it has positive electric charge in one of it's poles and negative charge on the other. The hydrogen is positively charged and the oxygen is negatively charged which are bonded by covalent bond. Hydrogen is positively charged because it cannot attract electrons strongly like oxygen which is positively charged. There is unequal sharing of electrons in water molecules and this is why oxygen is slightly negative and hydrogen is slightly positive.

which characteristic of water causes liquid water to form raindrops? A. water is less dense than dust particles B. water molecul
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

b. water molecules are strongly cohesive

Explanation:

Water is highly cohesive and clumps together into drops because of its cohesive properties. Water molecules attracting each other result in surface tension, which causes raindrops to form round beads as they fall on a surface.

Hope this helps!
