You've been admitted to the hospital with a horrible illness. The doctor orders the nurse to give you IV fluids, then leaves the

room. You overhear the nurse tell the supervisor that the hospital has no supply of fluids left. The supervisor tells the nurse to just fill an IV bag with tap water since you are just needing to be re-hydrated. Tell me what you do. Do you allow the nurse to re-hydrate you, why or why not?

You shouldn't allow yourself to be re-hydrates in this way because it is incredibly unsafe. Tap and bottled water can carry bacteria which can cause severe infections to get into the bloodstream.

Answer:

Yes, if you are there for being re-hydrated then it should be fine. If you weren't there to be hydrated then I would not take it. In my opinion it really depends on the situatutiaon you are there for. Like I said if you are there for hydration take it! Water can't really harm you/

The dotted line on the accompanying graphrepresents the potential size of a population based on itsreproductive capacity. The so
Masja [62]

Since the species is not reaching its maximum population, we can think that there is an inhibiting factor in the ecosystem. So if more organisms were to migrate within the population or if the birth rate were to increase, the population would not follow the trend in the image. If the resources of the ecosystem were limited, the population would increase, but then they would start to die due to lack of resources so the graph would have a gaussian bell distribution.

Therefore, the answer is D, since the maximum load of the ecosystem has been reached and although the organisms continue to reproduce, the population cannot increase but neither does it decrease since there are sufficient resources.
