1. Because he became a violent, corrupt, evil and unpleasant man, besides he sold his soul to the devil for pure ambition. This makes him go to hell.
2. All the people who have suffered this destiny have in common ambition, dishonesty, violence and are traitorous people who have evil in their hearts and personalities.
3. The narration knows all the details of the story and the behaviors and thoughts of all the characters, however, the narrator himself is not a character, which shows that the story is told from the point of view of a third person, by a narrator omniscient.

Atticus tells Scout that a Cunningham was on the jury and didn't want to convict Tom. This Cunningham thought that Tom was innocent. The jury actually had to think about the conviction before they did it.
