The Taliban was an Authoritarian organization that infringed on the rights of Afghani citizens and abused ethnic minorities.

Explanation:

The Taliban came around after the Soviet Afghan war, they took it upon themselves to invade an already broken country and force it to follow Sharia law, which are strict religious codes, these would infringe on the rights of men, women, ethnic minorities. The citizens themselves would benefit from the Taliban being ousted.
