Political: caused tension between British government and the colonies
Economic: Britain increased taxes on the colonies to pay off war debts
Social: Increased the rising American identity in the colonies, colonist would ignore the treaty to not invade west of the Appalation mountains

Bismarck wanted to do it alone and didn't care about the other nations, only about German states while Italy was divided between the south and the north where north was under heavy influence of France and was often controlled by the French. He needed French support in order to start fighting Austria over the territory.
