The living will is a document that gives physicians and doctors instructions to administer life-ending medications and treatments if the person signing the document is unable to communicate his or her wishes and there is no hope for recovery for the person. People who sign these forms have different opinions, such as some may not wish to become a burden on their family members or loved ones in such a state, or may believe that life is not worth living if its quality is not sustained.
