Gina is a thirteen-year-old girl with a significant anxiety disorder. She often becomes overly concerned that she will fail in h

er schoolwork and let both her parents and her teachers down. If assigned to a group project she often becomes almost catatonic out of fear that she will disappoint her group members or will do something that will result in her being ridiculed. She often simply ‘shuts down’ when anxious – not talking or doing any work. If pushed she may display a full out panic attack and start crying and has on three occasions actually left the school building. Once she left the school (without any one noticing) and she reported to a hospital emergency room almost two miles away from the school. She often signals her bouts with anxiety by becoming somewhat more agitated and displays more questions and expresses the desire to go to the bathroom or to the nurse, etc. At this point the specific nature of what actually triggers the anxiety in any given academic or social task is not fully understood – as Gina is an exceptional student and while very quiet – is well liked by her peers. 11. Given the little information provided, what might be your hypothesis for the function of Gina’s behavior?

In Module 1, you set a health goal for yourself.
Sliva [168]

Write your health goal in a positive manner.

I am going to eat fruit more often. I believe this will make me happier and healthier.

Write your plan of action. You must have at least three specific steps. (a. b. c.)

A. I will go to the grocery store, and pick out fruit I enjoy eating.

B. I will prepare the fruit and put it in containers, so it is easy to access, any time of the day

C. I will set a reminder on my phone, to remind me to eat my fruit.

Write the time frame.

I would like to try this for 2 weeks. It takes 14 days to start a lasting habit, so I believe if I eat fruit for 2 weeks straight, I will always remember to eat fruit.

Write about your progress toward your goal.

DAY 1:

I have bought the fruit.

DAY 7:

I can tell my skin is clearer, and I have more energy.

Write about any obstacles you've encountered and ways to overcome them.

Which activity can substantially increase the activity level of a person lifestyle
alisha [4.7K]
The question is asking us to choose, from a list, which activity can substantially increase the activity level of a person lifestyle. The activity here is the physical activity, so the question is, which of the following would make you most physically active. The answer is walking to school - here you would be using your muscles to move. When you are driving a car or using an escalator, you are using technology to move so you don't have to use physical strength.
