<em>* The sentence 4 can have little different meanings depending when you use imparfait or passé composé. You could say, for exemple . Il </em><em>a neigé </em><em>mais</em><em> il a fait beau </em><em>quand même ==> it snowed but the weather was nice anyway</em>
<em>OR il </em><em>neigeait </em><em>mais il </em><em>faisait /a fait </em><em>beau</em><em> ... ==> </em><em> it was snowing but the weather was fine/ has been anyway</em>
<em>all are different but correct because of "quand même" = anyway ...</em>
