Mathematics

The <em><u>correct answer</u></em> is:

D) Histograms may represent categorical data.

Explanation:

Histograms are used to represent quantitative data. As such, it does not represent categorical data.

The bars of a histogram should be equal width to accurately display the data.

Histograms may be skewed or symmetrical depending on the data.

If one particular bar has no data in it, there may be gaps in the histogram. There may also be clusters, dependent on the data.

We generally draw the bars of a histogram as touching, to illustrate that the data is not discrete but instead continuous.

In the figure below, GK is parallel to HJ<br> What is the measure of KMI?
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{29 \textdegree}

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the measure of angle KMI, we need to note some angle relationships here.

GK and HJ are parallel lines cut by a transversal, meaning the angles formed by this transversal line will be the same along the parallel lines.

We know that the 29° angle is an alternate interior angle to KMI. This means their angle measures are the same.

Therefore, KMI is also 29°.

Hope this helped!

How do u solve this step by step and also pls don’t answer unnecessarily
kari74 [83]
You have to have one side equal x so I’ll solve one from each section

e) x = 2

5x = 12 - x
add x to both sides
6x = 12
divide both sides by 6
x = 2

k) x = 3

15x + 4 = 10x + 19
move the 4 to the other side by subtracting on both sides
15x = 10x + 15
subtract 10x from both sides
5x = 15
divide by sides by 5
x = 3

what is the probability of seeing a sample mean for 21 observations less or equal to the sample mean that we observed
kramer

Answer:

P(x \le 21) = 0.69146

Step-by-step explanation:

The missing parameters are:

n = 64 --- population

\mu = 20 --- population mean

\sigma = 16 -- population standard deviation

Required

P(x \le 21)

First, calculate the sample standard deviation

\sigma_x = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt n}

\sigma_x = \frac{16}{\sqrt {64}}

\sigma_x = \frac{16}{8}

\sigma_x = 2

Next, calculate the sample mean \bar_x

\bar x = \mu

So:

\bar x = 20

So, we have:

\sigma_x = 2

\bar x = 20

x = 21

Calculate the z score

x = \frac{x - \mu}{\sigma}

x = \frac{21 - 20}{2}

x = \frac{1}{2}

x = 0.50

So, we have:

P(x \le 21) = P(z \le 0.50)

From the z table

P(z \le 0.50) = 0.69146

So:

P(x \le 21) = 0.69146
