Answer:

I think that 11's are made to volunteer their time before their assignment because it gives the elders an idea of where to place the 11's. It also gives the 11's experience with the job they will probably have in the future.

UNO [17]
It would be a "functional resume" that would best highlight a person's strong work history, since this would allow a person to put their most impressive work experience first, rather than listing it in order.

Remark

I see what you mean. It doesn't look like anything has happened in the quoted passage that would suggest he was dead. He is certainly disorientated. You have two choices.

Choice One

"I had not seen him approach, and the sudden appearance made me start." This happens to people all the time when they are concentrating and don't hear or see the things going on around them. But in this particular case, he was only putting a key in a door. That doesn't take much concentration, particularly if you have done this 1000 times before. If you allow me to speculate just a little bit, it sounds like an old fashioned boarding house. It would be hard to sneak up on someone.

Choice Two

Once inside the room, he runs straight to the back room and checks the door, but does not know if it is locked. Then comes back and asks for a favor. It's really odd. It's a hint.

Read this excerpt from “A Servant to Servants” and answer the question.
fgiga [73]
The correct option is this: THE NARRATOR THINKS SHE NEEDS REST, BUT LEN THINKS WORK IS THE CURE FOR HER ILLNESS.
From the excerpt given above, it can be seen that the narrator is sick and the only cure she needs is rest from her works, for she has been doing too much work. But her husband thinks that she needs to continue working because the only medicine she needs as cure is work.<span />
