Accidental exposure to mutagens- exposure to a mutagen, such as in a workplace, during chemotherapy, or warfare can cause change in DNA.  natural exposure to mutagens- cosmic rays, sunlight and radioactive minerals naturally found on earth can cause changes in the DNA

¿Cuál es la importancia de la fusión nuclear? What is the importance of nuclear fusion?
Rama09 [41]

Without it, there are no stars, including our own sun, and there wouldn’t be us talking about it.

It is used in particularly destructive bombs.

At a tiny scale, it can be used to produce neutrons, eg, a Farnsworth Fusor.

At a large scale, we have yet to figure out how to make controlled fusion work in a way that runs for a long time and generates collectible power we can use to feed the process. This has remained elusively 20 years out from the current state of affairs for 50 years.

If it was made to work, then it would probably be a good source of clean energy that would be safer than many of the non-renewable alternatives.

I don’t expect to live to see it happen.

soil. Swamps, marshes, and other wetland areas help to control flooding because they naturally hold water. Wetland regeneration
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]
Restoring farmlands to wetlands consists of a lot of pro and cons. Firstly, they should consider that wetlands will greatly filter carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce greenhouse gases. Wetlands restoration would probably affect the lives of the nearby human residents negatively. This is due to the fact that wetlands provides an optimal habitat to wild animals especially dangerous carnivores like alligators. The regeneration project will expand the habitats of animals, and clean the water system but it will remove the nutrients from the soil.
