Answer:

1. The rising cost of medicines (<em><u>has turned)</u></em> the attention of medical scientist to herbal  cures.

2. Herbalists or “herbalarious” (<em><u>have proven)</u></em> that plants are effective in treating certain  diseases.

3. "So far, we (<em><u>have analyzed)</u></em> 300 plants," says Mrs. Ludivina S. de Padua, director of  U.P. Los Baños Medical Plant Program, "and we (<em><u>have discovered)</u></em> that what herbalists are  doing has scientific basis."

4. From the studies, Mrs. De Padua, together with G.C. Lugod and J.V. Pancho (<em><u>have  published)</u></em> two handbooks on Philippine Medical Plants.

5. She (<em><u>has lectured)</u></em> on plants and  their cures and (<em><u>has spoken)</u></em> in medical seminars on medical plants.

Explanation:

The present perfect tense is when an action occurred in an indefinite time in the past or started in the past and is still relevant in the present. In other words, we can say that the present perfect tense talks about a past event that has present consequences. The simplest way of detecting it is the structure or form of <u>"has/have + Past participle"</u>.

Five sentences with the present perfect tense of the verbs are given below-

Answer:

The word that best describes the tone of this passage is "willing" because it presents the tone of determination that Chandler has and that is transmitted to the reader through the reading of the text.

Explanation:

The tone of a text is the feeling conveyed to the reader through reading. In the text above, we can see the tone of determination, as Chandler is determined to sacrifice himself for many days to spend a night in the spotlight and have a lot of fun with it. adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Is source of Lava all you are going to put in the second section? If it is, that eliminates both the first and last ones. Part 2 is always safe, no matter what comes next.

If it's a science report, part 2 is safe. I think I'd pick it. Dull but it directs the reader to a change.
