Answer:

The value of n = 4 and

The value of x = \frac{5}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Method I:

As given, 12x -20=n (3x-5)      .........(1)

Firstly , take 12x - 20

As 12x - 20 can be written as 4(3x - 5)

∴ equation (1) becomes

4(3x - 5) = n (3x-5)

Divide the equation by (3x-5) , we get

4 = n

Method II:

As given, 12x -20=n (3x-5)

⇒12x - 20 = 3nx - 5n

⇒12x - 3nx = 20 - 5n

⇒3x(4 - n) = 5( 4 - n)

Divide the equation by (4-n) , we get

3x = 5

⇒ x = \frac{5}{3}

∴ we get

n = 4 and  x = \frac{5}{3}

Now, check that value of n and x satisfies the equation or not

12(\frac{5}{3}) - 20 = 4( 3(\frac{5}{3}) - 5)

⇒4(5) - 20 = 4(5 - 5)

⇒20 - 20 = 4(0)

⇒ 0 = 0

Hence , we get

The values of x and n satisfies the equation

so, we get

n = 4 and  x = \frac{5}{3}

Find the approximate volume of the figure below, composed of a cone, a cylinder, and a hemisphere. If necessary, round your answ
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

Volume of the solid = 480.42m³

Step-by-step explanation:

To sov this question, we'll have to break the solid into different shapes of solid to solve it easily.

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

volume of a hemisphere = 4/3πr³

Volume of a cone = ⅓πr²h

π = 3.14

r = 3m

h(cylinder) = 11m

Slant height of cone = 3√(2)

Height of cone = ?

To find height of cone, we can use pythagorean theorem

a² = b² + c²

[ 3√(2)]² = 3² + c²

9*2 = 9 + c²

C² = 18 - 9

C = 9m

Height of the cone = 9m

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

V = 3.14 * 3² * 11

V = 310.86m³

Volume of the cylnder = 310.86m³

Volume of the hemisphere = 4/3πr³

V = 3.14 * 3³

V = 84.78m³

Volume of the hemisphere = 84.78m³

Volume of the cone = ⅓πr²h

V = ⅓ * 3.14 * 3² * 9

V = 84.78

Volume of the cone = 84.78m³

Volume of the solid = volume of cone + volume of hemisphere + volume of cylinder

Volume of the solid = 84.78 + 84.78 + 310.86

Volume = 480.42m³

Vugar has a maximum of 30 batteries for toys. Each toy helicopter uses the same number of batteries, and each toy car uses the s
Leno4ka [110]

Answer: 3H+4C<_ 30

The coefficients of the variables H and C represent the number of batteries each toy helicopter and each toy car uses.

Step-by-step explanation:

Each toy helicopter uses 3 batteries, and each toy car uses 4 batteries.

Now let's check whether Vugar has enough batteries for 5 toy helicopters and 4 toy cars. To do this, we substitute  H=5 and C= 4 in the given inequality:

Does Vugar have enough batteries to play with 5 toy helicopters and 4 toy cars?

No, because if you plug in the value for H and C:

3H + 4C<_ 30

3(5) + 4(4) <_30

15 + 16 <_ 30

31 <_ 30; false

Since the inequality is false, Vugar does not have enough batteries to play with 555 toy helicopters and 444 toy cars.

Each toy helicopter uses 333 batteries, and each toy car uses 444 batteries.

No, Vugar does not have enough batteries to play with 555 toy helicopters and 444 toy cars.
