Describe and the explain the changes in blood lactic acid and concentration shown in the graph || guys someone please help i’m f
7nadin3 [17]
During the exercise period (10-15min) the blood lactic acid concentration increases to about 13.2 mmol/dL (same units as on graph) as the individual is having problems keeping up their aerobic respiration. After 15min, they stop exercising and the lactic acid concentration starts to return to normal as their body is able to take in enough oxygen and catches up with the excess lactic acid, metabolizing it into CO2 and H2O. The period between 15-20 min shows the fastest reduction in concentration.

Under what conditions does the trp repressor block transcription of the trp operon? (A) when the repressor binds to the inducer
Brilliant_brown [7]

The trp repressor blocks transcription of the trp operon (B) when the repressor binds to tryptophan.

trp operon or the tryptophan operon codes enzymes for the amino acid tryptophan. The operon is on when the tryptophan is low in amount whereas the operon is off when the tryptophan is low in amount. The operon is an assimilation of five genes.

Repressor is a small protein that is supposed to prevent the synthesis of proteins. It does so binding to the operator gene. Therefore, presence or absence of repressor is a determining factor for an operon to be on or off.
