Scholasticism (deriving from the Latin <em>scholasticus</em> “belonging to the school”) was a method of thought used in some European universities during the Middle Ages (1100-1500 A.C.). Scholasticism was widely used until 1600 when the Renaissance began to dominate education in Europe. Although Scholasticism was no longer used, many of its principles continued to be part of the new renascent ideas of such as Christian Humanism.
Some of this Scholastic’s principles developed by the Christian Humanism were:
- An analysis of the theology and Christian thoughts under a more philosophical approach.
- A disclosure of ideas from some Roman and Greek philosophers like Plato.
- The finding of more logic and stronger arguments that lead an answering of some questions about life and humanity.
I believe the answer is: Ancient Mesopotamians utilized advanced technologies and planning in architectural construction.
Ancient Mesopotamian people believe that the craft in building can be used as a divine gift given to humans by the gods. This belief lead to many techniques and technology in their architectures which considered to be really advanced at that time. Their architectural blueprint was adopted by many other societies after them.
The answer is Jean-Jacques Rousseau's writing inspired them to view practices like inherited privilege and absolute monarchy as irrational.
It might be said that James Watt <span>improved the efficiency and design of Newcomen's steam engine.
He was not only an inventor buy a mechanical engineer and chemist so he could improve Thomas Newcomen´s steam engine. It contributed to the Industrial Revolution in Great Britain and in the entire world. </span>
