The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

The historical circumstances that led John Locke and other political philosophers to develop political ideas such as those expressed in his Second Treatise of Government were based on the time in which they lived. A time in history known as the Enlightenment.

During this period full of knowledge and brilliant social ideas, famous thinkers and philosophers developed interesting concepts about human natural rights, a form of government, social contracts, and more.

It was a time of brilliant thinkers and ideas such as was the case of the ideas of Baron de Montesquiou, Voltaire, Thomas Hobbes, Jean Jaques Rosseau, and John Locke, who wrote "Second Treatise of Government."

These important concepts and ideas inspired future revolutionary and independence movements as was the case of the Revolutionary War in the 13 colonies or the French Revolution.

Answer: This unit serves an introduction to world regions and interconnections as of the

year 300 CE. The teacher explains that a central question of the seventh-grade

world history course is How did the distant regions of the world become more

interconnected through medieval and early modern times? In this unit, students

will study the interconnections of world cultures in 300 CE. The world’s people

were fundamentally divided into two regions: Afroeurasia (or the Eastern

Hemisphere) and the Americas (or the Western Hemisphere). In the Americas,

there were many different cultures. In two areas, Mesoamerica and the area along

the Andean mountain spine, states and empires with large cities were supported by

advanced agricultural techniques and widespread regional trade. In 300 CE, the

Maya were building a powerful culture of city-states, and Teotihuacán in central

Mexico was one of the largest cities in the world. These two centers traded with

each other. In the Andes region, the state of Tiahuanaco extended its trade

networks from modern-day Peru to Chile. While these two regions were probably

not in contact with each other, trade routes crossed much of North and South America.

vladimir1956 [14]

After the emergence of Islam, which was proclaimed by Muhammad, there emerged a caliphate, as an Islamic state under the leadership of the Caliph, a religious leader who represented the religious successor to the Prophet Muhammad. There were three main caliphates, one after the other, during the medieval period: Rashidun Caliphate, Umayyads Caliphate and Abbasid Caliphate. Starting with Umayyads, the title of the caliph became hereditary within the dinasty, and their empire grew rapidly, adding new territories to the Muslim world,  reached the situation of the largest empire at that time, and the sixth empire in history. By other Muslims, they were considered too secular.
