Fungi lacks the ability to produce their own food because they do not have chloroplast which is needed to obtain energy from the sun and convert it into food. Also fungi lack ability to fix nitrogen which has to be incorporated into their food. They also can not fix carbon and utilize it to produce food. Because of these they have to depend on dead organic matters for food.

torisob [31]

In which sections or section of the kidney is the urine formed?

The final product of filtration, reabsorption, and secretion which is the urine is primarily formed in the renal medulla although the formation of the urine starts with the filtration of blood in the glomerulus then along the proximal tubules, descending and ascending loop of Henle, distal tubules, and collecting ducts.

What section of the kidney collects the urine?

The renal pelvis is the main section of the kidney that collects the urine. The renal pelvis arises from the confluence of the collecting ducts forming the renal papilla then the minor calyx and the major calyx and ultimately to the renal pelvis to be transported to the urinary bladder through the ureters.

How does the urine move from the kidney out of the body?

The urine will be collected in the renal pelvis. With the urine collected in the renal pelvis, the urine moves from the renal pelvis to the urinary bladder through the ureters and will be stored in the urinary bladder. When there is an urge to urinate, the urinary bladder contracts and the urethral sphincter relaxes that allows passage of the urine from the bladder out of the body through the urethra.

In which main regions of the kidney are the glomerulus and the Bowman's capsule located?

The glomerulus and the Bowman’s capsule are part of the renal cortex. These organs are responsible for the filtration of the blood from the afferent arteriole. The glomerulus and the Bowman’s capsule are not synonymous but rather the glomerulus comes from the afferent arteriole and the Bowman’s capsule functions as a filtration membrane. Together, they are called the renal corpuscle.

In which main regions of the kidney are the collecting ducts and the loop of Henle located?

The collecting ducts are located in the renal medulla whereas the loop of Henle are partly in the medulla, depending on the type of nephron. In superficial cortical nephrons, the dips only up to the outer medulla while in the juxtamedullary nephrons, the glomerulus is near the corticomedullary border wherein more parts of the loop of Henle is in the medulla.

What if the sun disappears one fine day ?
igor_vitrenko [27]

Explanation:

Sun plays an important role in our solar system especially planet like earth are dependent on sun for food, water and air. Sun helps to balance the ecosystem on earth.

Here is an assumption what would happen if sun disappear for one day only, it would be more curt if it disappear forever but from POV of one day below are certain consequences of such a situation over solar system,

  1. You might be thinking if sun disappear then we would be seeing the moon for a whole day but don't forget, moon don't have it's own light, it reflects the rays coming from sun if sun disappear then surely moon would be like a ball kept in dark.
  2. It would happen for the first time if an asian man calls to someone in Europe, usually when here is night there is day and vica versa, but this time both will have same appear (night only)
  3. There's a idiom in Indian Hindi language that says "seeing the stars during the day time" which we use when we are going through something worse that we see the stars during daytime, but this time every human being on earth will see the stars during daytime, do not forget stars have their own light, they are not sun dependent.
  4. For the first time Night Blooming Jasmine will bloom and spread it's fragrance for 24 hours.
  5. Often when the earth revolves around its axis, a certain part of it receives light from the sun.But for the first time the earth will rotate around its axis without the sunlight falling on any part.
  6. people who are not allowed to go out of the house at night time can now enjoy the night out in the day too.
  7. Those trees and plants who slept in the hope that they would cook food in the morning with sunlight, they would not even know that their food has gone missing.
  8. Our ozon layer will have it's first leave from his duty.

Round (R) seed shape is dominant to wrinkled (r) seed shape in pea plants. If an RR plant is crossed with an rr plant, what is t
melamori03 [73]

Answer:

The correct answer is b. All round seeds

Explanation:

If an RR plant is crossed with an rr plant than all the phenotype will produce round seed and the frequency of the Round seed plant to wrinkled seed plant would be 4:0.

                       R     R

                  r   Rr    Rr

                  r   Rr    Rr

So all the phenotypes will be heterozygous dominant for the round seed which means that all phenotypes will have a single dominant allele for round seed which is enough to express round seeds in the phenotypes.
